Listing and publishing states

Understand the visible states used for products, opportunities, programs, and events, plus the action each state normally requires.

State vocabularies differ by listing type. A job is never “published” and an event is never “filled”. Use the state your listing type actually has.

Review is a separate axis

Every listing type carries a review verdict alongside its own state: Pending, Approved, or Rejected. Nothing you create waits in a queue: a listing you publish is approved on submission and discoverable straight away. Pending means a moderator pulled it back afterwards, or it arrived by import rather than a create form. A rejected verdict keeps a listing out of public discovery whatever its own state says.

Claims

A hub or listing that exists without an accountable manager can be claimed. A claim moves through its own states.

Pending review	Submitted and awaiting review
Approved	You now manage the entity
Rejected	The claim was not accepted
Withdrawn	You cancelled your own claim
Expired	The claim lapsed without being resolved

A hub that already has an owner is not claimable. Neither is a suspended company, nor an imported listing that has not yet been matched to a company profile.

A seeded hub is one Dapping assembled from public sources, so a company is findable before anyone there joins. Its listings carry no engagement, read as community-maintained, and all transfer together when someone claims the hub.

Confirmation-dependent relationships

Some public relationships become active only after another participant accepts them. An invitation or request is not an active relationship.

Before you can publish anything

Your account needs a verified email address to create a listing. To publish under a company rather than under your own profile, you must be an owner or an admin of that company; members cannot publish on its behalf.
