The guarantees
- Verification cannot be bought. The badge is earned with proof of identity, it is free on every plan, and no payment accelerates or substitutes for it. It also cannot outlive that proof: if a later edit invalidates the evidence behind it, the badge is revoked rather than carried over. One thing about it does follow a plan, and it is deliberately not a second grade of verification: the badge renders gold, as the Pro badge, while a company is on a paid plan, and that gold form also appears beside team members whose current role the company has attested. It certifies nothing extra, and it is set out in full in plans and what each tier unlocks.
- Karma cannot be bought. Not the score, not the tier, not any pillar of it. A company’s plan has no input into any person’s Karma.
- Earned rank cannot be bought. No plan improves where you or your listings place on merit, in search, in directory listings, in dApp Radar, or in any Tracker. Two things are paid placement, and both are honest about being one. Featuring is labeled, capped so featured entries can never take more than a minority of any page, and expires with the campaign it promotes. Advertising is sold separately, per campaign: every ad is labeled as sponsored and carries the advertiser’s name, and ads sit beside the results, never inside them, so nothing spent there moves a company, a product, or a person in search, in dApp Radar, or in any Tracker. Promotion is visible as promotion, never dressed as merit.
- Board standing cannot be moved in secret. A community board’s operator chooses what the board measures, and every board publishes those measurement rules to its members. An operator can also grant or remove bonus XP, and that is the only lever over an individual: it always requires a written reason, it always appears in that member’s own breakdown with the reason attached, the member is always notified, and all-time it can only claw back XP that company granted. Money buys the ability to run a board, never a quiet hand on it.
- Reviews cannot be removed by the company they concern. You can respond publicly, one live response per review, marked as the official response. You cannot edit, hide, or delete what someone else experienced.
- Attestations are yours alone to issue, and revocations are visible. Nobody can buy an attestation from your company, and when you revoke one, the change is recorded rather than silently rewritten.
Why this is in your interest
These constraints are what make the signals you benefit from readable. Your verified badge means something because no competitor could buy one. Your attested team reads as real because attestation cannot be purchased. Your board is worth competing on because your community can see every hand you put on it. A platform that sold any of these would be selling the value of all of them. What paid plans do buy
Reach, and the instruments to use it. Free is to be found; paid is to go looking. What you are buying is the ability to search the graph by what has been verified rather than claimed, and to act on what you find: the advanced proof filters, skill summaries, job-to-candidate matching, dApp Radar, community boards, Ecosystem Tracker, and connectors. Every one of them reads the same public records everyone else can read, applied on top of signals that stay honest for everyone. The split is documented plan by plan in choose a plan.Continue on Dapping
