If you are hiring engineers and cannot tell which claims on a resume are real, this is the page. Your roles carry your company’s verification, and the people who apply carry proof their own employers confirmed.
Applicant evidence supports a hiring pipeline from new through hired or not moving forward, but it is not identity screening.
This assumes the roles are your own. Recruiters and talent partners running several searches at once should start from Talent Portal instead.

Publish roles that read as real

Posting jobs is free and unlimited on every plan. Each role offers one of three application methods: an external link to your own careers flow, an email, or one-click apply on Dapping itself. One-click apply is reserved for active, verified companies, which is one more reason verification comes first. A role with a deadline closes itself when the deadline passes and ranks below open roles from then on, so it never sits open and abandoned. Reopening it is one edit: give it a new date.

Run the pipeline where the applications land

On-platform applications arrive in the role’s Applicants tab with a stage pipeline that runs from new through review, shortlist, interviews, and offer to hired. Interview rounds are separate stages rather than one bucket, so the funnel reads the way your own does. Each move is recorded and notifies the candidate. Two things are structural rather than policy. There is one application per person per role, so a candidate cannot pad your pipeline by applying twice. And one-click apply is closed to companies that are not active and verified, so the roles using it are roles from a company that proved it controls its own identity. Your listing performance, views, and interactions stay visible on the free plan. If your roles already live in an ATS, the Dapping team can sync them for you from Greenhouse, Lever, Ashby, Workable, or Personio. Ask through your hub; it is provisioned by us rather than self-serve, so the source is checked before anything publishes.

Evaluate by evidence

A Dapping profile answers the questions a resume cannot. Look for roles attested by named companies, products with team credit, participation attestations from organizers, recommendations from people with proof of their own, and the Karma tier that summarizes it. Every one of those signals is explained in trust signals and proof labels, including what each does not prove. Browsing builders is free with the basic filters. The Company plan adds the advanced proof filters, per-builder skill summaries, and job-to-candidate matching, which ranks candidates against a specific role and shows why each one fits. Candidates never see their own score, and matching reads only what they chose to put on their profile.

Where this fits in your process

Proof replaces the part of hiring that was guesswork: whether the claims on the page are real. It does not replace the rest. Offers, contracts, and whatever your process does today to establish that a candidate is a real and eligible person all stay yours, because an attested role confirms a working relationship and not an identity. How proof works sets out exactly what each signal certifies. What changes is where you spend the three weeks. Start from the evidence, and use the conversation for what a profile cannot tell you.
