Evaluate an opportunity
- Open the full opportunity and identify the publishing company.
- Check dates, location, eligibility, compensation or award details, and required skills.
- Follow the official application link and confirm the same terms there.
- Open the company and project profiles for background.
- Use the discussion thread on the opportunity to ask the publisher a public question.
How the list is ordered
Each directory opens on Recommended, personalized when you are signed in. Every other sort is literal: newest, highest salary, remote, and the rest do exactly what they say. When you are signed in, Recommended weighs the skills on your profile against the skills a role asks for, plus the ecosystems you follow, the topics you picked, and where you are. Only what you have entered on Dapping is used. Featured opportunities are promoted placements. They rank higher for as long as the placement runs, and it expires. Opportunities from companies you already follow are moved down rather than removed, so the list keeps surfacing organizations you have not seen yet. An opportunity whose deadline has passed is closed automatically, ranks below every open one, and drops out of the default list. Use the Past, Closed or Expired chip to see them. Nothing is deleted: the page stays up, so a link you saved still works.Warning signs
- Requests for wallet seed phrases, private keys, or upfront payments.
- Pressure to move immediately to an unverified channel.
- Terms that conflict with the official company destination.
- Guaranteed earnings, funding, selection, or token value.
