Skills help people understand what you work on. Endorsements are most useful when they come from someone who has seen that skill in practice.

Manage your skills

  1. Open your profile and find the Skills section.
  2. Add skills that reflect work you can discuss or demonstrate.
  3. Mark the most important skills as primary where the interface allows it.
  4. Remove stale or misleading skills instead of keeping a long generic list.

Endorse someone

  1. Open the builder’s public profile.
  2. Find a skill you have personally observed through work, collaboration, or a reviewable contribution.
  3. Select the endorsement action and confirm it.
A skill can have several endorsers. Their names appear alongside the rest of the person’s experience, projects, and recommendations.

Remove an endorsement

If you endorsed the wrong skill or want to remove an endorsement, select the endorsement again and confirm the change. Choose skills that describe work you can discuss or demonstrate. A firsthand endorsement is useful when the endorser has seen that skill applied to a project, role, review, event, or collaboration. Do not trade endorsements or add broad skills only to appear in more searches.
