  1. Open Builders.
  2. Search by name, handle, skill, role, or intent. Browse hubs also exist for skills, intents, locations, and ecosystems, including open-to-work builders.
  3. Open a profile to review experience, projects, recommendations, and proof labels.
  4. Use the message request flow for outreach.
Search, location, skills, roles, intents, tag, sort, and minimum Karma are open to everyone. Six filters need the Company plan and an owner or admin acting as that company: ecosystems, verified only, open to work, has verified experience, has recommendations, and has projects. If you select one without that plan you get an upgrade prompt instead of results, so you always know the filter did not run.

Availability signals

A builder picks from a fixed set of intents: Full-time, Contract, Co-founding, Advisory, Hackathon teams, Grants and bounties, or Not looking. Choosing Not looking clears the others. These are self-managed and go stale faster than anything else on a profile. Read the specific intents rather than inferring availability from an active-looking profile, and ask whether the builder is still open.

  • Separate verified experience from information the person added themselves.
  • Name the company, the role or collaboration, the expected commitment, the location or timezone, and why their visible work is relevant.
  • Send a message request and respect the answer.
