Choose what appears publicly
Open the account settings control on your profile, then the Privacy tab. The Privacy & Visibility panel has one switch each for Location, Company & Position, Primary Wallet, Social Accounts, Open to Work, and NFT Collection. Showing your NFT collection reveals holdings from the Ethereum and Solana wallets you have connected.Choose the employer mark beside your name
When a company attests your current role and that company is verified, its mark can appear beside your name across Dapping. If more than one employer qualifies at the same time, a picker appears on the mark so you can choose which one shows. The choice only settles a tie between roles that already qualify: it cannot surface a company that has not attested you, and it cannot keep a mark alive after the role ends or the attestation is revoked.Your username is permanent
Your public handle is confirmed during onboarding and cannot be changed afterwards, so the field stays locked in the editor. It is the durable address of your proof page, which is why it does not move once other people have started sharing it.Changes that need extra care
- Changing a verified experience title, company, dates, or current-role status removes the verification on that entry.
- Setting an NFT as your profile image checks ownership against your connected wallets at the moment you save. If ownership cannot be confirmed, the whole save is refused and your profile is left unchanged.
If a save fails
Read the message beside the field and try again. If the same profile was edited in another session, Dapping refuses the save rather than overwriting the newer version; reload your profile and reapply the change. If it still fails, report the page URL with a screenshot that has private details removed. Review these details after a role change, project launch, grant milestone, hackathon, or availability change. Leave client details, private contact information, and unreleased work out of public fields.Continue on Dapping
