Plan an event week
- Open an event calendar and confirm its city, dates, timezone, organizer, and official links.
- Browse the events that fit your schedule and goals.
- Open each event to check venue context, audience, capacity notes, host, and the external registration destination.
- Select Going when you intend to attend.
- Subscribe to the calendar to follow new items added to it.
Four tabs on a calendar
A calendar page separates what a conference week actually produces, so you are not scrolling one undifferentiated list:- Calendar holds the scheduled gatherings: meetups, workshops, dinners, parties, and the rest.
- Hackathons holds the hackathons attached to the week.
- Co-working holds desk space available while you are in the city.
- Co-living holds places to stay.
Understand the signals
Going is a planning and discovery signal. It is not a ticket, a registration, an entry guarantee, or an attendance record. Complete any required registration with the organizer and keep the confirmation they send you. Subscribe is separate from Going. It follows the calendar so you hear about new items added to it. Whether that reaches you, and how, depends on your notification settings. Events also carry a discussion thread, so you can ask the host a public question before travelling. Calendar pages do not have one. Calendar and event details can change at the source. Recheck the official destination before you book anything.Build useful professional context
Use attendee and company context to identify relevant builders, partners, DevRel teams, or hiring conversations. Send a specific message and respect message requests. Do not scrape attendee lists, and do not read a Going signal as agreement to meet.Continue on Dapping
